At 6am on Thursday Tom Enders, the German chief executive of Airbus, posted a short video on Youtube in which he set out his views on a no-deal Brexit. 

Even by the standards of Mr Enders, who has been one of the most prominent critics of no-deal, his three minute, 10 second video did not pull any punches.

"It is a disgrace that, more than two years after the result of the 2016 referendum, businesses are still unable to plan properly for the future," he said.
